Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate ESOL Instructor to join our esteemed team and facilitate the language development of Afghan women in a vibrant, remote adult ESOL program. This role provides a unique opportunity to positively influence the lives of immigrant women as they navigate language challenges and integrate into their new surroundings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging in-person low beginner ESOL classes, with a focus on reading, writing, pronunciation, conversation, and basic grammar.
- Monitor and assess student progress to gauge language development effectively.
- Design and implement a dynamic ESOL curriculum tailored to the specific needs of adult learners.
- Collaborate closely with students’ Case Managers and ESOL Program Managers to enhance student success.
- Foster an interactive classroom environment that encourages active conversation practice and constructive feedback.
Required Skills
- Proficient command of the English language.
- Experience in teaching ESOL literacy or low beginner-level students.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners in a single classroom setting.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree and a TESOL/TESL/TEFL certificate.
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to uplifting immigrant and refugee communities.

Compensation And Schedule
- Hourly compensation: \(25 - \)27 per hour.
- Commitment: 8 hours per week, with 4 hours allocated for teaching on Monday and Thursday mornings from 9-11 am, and 4 hours dedicated to preparation time.
